Leonardo Spangaro to join Holinger Asset Management from January 2024

Leonardo is moving after more than eight years at an asset manager that specializes in convertible bonds, among other things, where he worked as a senior portfolio manager, partner and deputy team leader in the convertible bonds area.

Leonardo Spangaro was responsible for various mutual funds and managed numerous direct mandates from institutional investors from the DACH region.

Before working as a senior convertible bond portfolio manager, Leonardo Spangaro spent ten years at Zürcher Kantonalbank. He started his career in the financial industry with a commercial apprenticeship and completed a multi-year junior traineeship in the corporate customer sector.

He then moved into the investment world and spent four years in investment advisory, where he studied part-time and ultimately worked as an investment specialist.

Education:

Leonardo Spangaro holds a bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and studied at the Cass Business School in London. He is also a CFA, CAIA and CFA ESG charterholder.

With a total of 18 years of experience in the financial industry, including over eight years as a portfolio manager in the area of ​​convertible bonds, Leonardo Spangaro brings extensive expertise to the Holinger Asset Management team.
