Leonardo Spangaro began his career in 2005 with a commercial apprenticeship at Zürcher Kantonalbank and then completed a traineeship program in the corporate client area. In 2011, he switched to the investment world and spent four years in Investment Advisory, where he studied part-time and ultimately worked as an Investment Specialist for wealthy private clients.
In 2015, Leonardo Spangaro joined Fisch Asset Management, an asset manager in Zurich with a focus on convertible bonds. Over the following eight years, he rose to Senior Portfolio Manager and Deputy Team Leader and was responsible for various mutual funds. He also managed numerous direct mandates from institutional investors in the DACH region. In 2022 and 2023 he was nominated for the Portfolio Manager Award by Citywire.
Leonardo Spangaro joined the Holinger Asset Management team as Senior Portfolio Manager in 2024. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and studied at Cass Business School in London. He is also a CFA, CAIA and CFA ESG charterholder.
